Strap Me To It: Glorious 75-Ton Rocket Engine Test

rocket-test.jpg

This is a video from the Korean Aerospace Research Institute of a 75-ton rocket engine test. It looks and sounds amazing. Unless you don’t like the sound of rocket engines, in which case you might hate it. Adjust your volume accordingly. I could tell that engine really wanted to escape its mounting and be free. Rocket engines weren’t made to be mounted to a building, they were made to be free and fly into space. It’s not fair being held captive like that. I’m going to loosen all those nuts and bolts and ride that engine straight to the stars. Also, how long do you think it would take to cook a half pound frozen chicken breast under that thing? You think it’s faster than a microwave? I like my chicken cooked rare just don’t tell my mom she worries about me.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to Linc, who already bought all the ingredients to make s’mores.
